Do You Miss It?

Do you miss the trees?

The sweet smell of summer grass?

The way branches would sway in the wind,

Showering Golden leaves onto your face?

Do you wish, suddenly,

To wish upon a star?

When you aren’t able to see one at all?

Do you wish you were outside?

And not cooped up?

Do you want to be near the shore,

Splashing in tides,

And waves, with whales,

Galore!

Do you wish to be outside?

Does your heart yearn?

For nature?

As for you, nature yearns?

I Sit Down By The Riverside

I sit down by the riverside,

Watching cars roll by.🚗🚗

The trees sway above me,🌲🌳

Showering red, gold and brown.🍁🍂🍂

There’s a squirrel nearby.🐿🐿

She’s wondering who I am.

What should I tell her?

That I am one of them?

The ones who ruined, ruin and keep ruining her home?🔥🔥

Oblivious to life and death,😵

And scared of them both?😖😖

Or am I one of those people,

The ones who hoped, hope and keep hoping,💫😘😘

For a better life for her and me both?

I do not know.🤷🏻‍♀️

But still, one thing is clear.

Do not worry, dear squirrel.🐿

A brighter day is near.🌄🌅

Vision of the Blind

The ground sways beneath me,
Leaves rustle behind,
They long to be free,
It’s like they have their own mind.

What if they do?
Would that be too bad?
I’m sure it wouldn’t, for I would be glad.

There are creatures all around us,
Wheather flowers or an ant
And when I hear them getting crushed
I want to rant.

I can hear the ocean tide
though I’m far away cast to the side.

I imagine the colors
though I can’t see the hues.
I can hear the cow chomping,
I can hear their lively moos.

I really can’t see,
They say I’ve lost my mind,
Though all I am really is just blind.

Some of the blind would love to see
But I’m too scared to think about how it would be.

I hear the radio.
I hear about the smoke and smog.
I hear about the whole tree that’s cut down
to get a single log.

Why does everything have to be bad?
Can’t we just change the game and not be mad?

Can’t we learn to be happy?
Not to be Sad?

For nature,
let’s try our best
and forget about the rest.

Plant a tree,
let autumn come
the leaves be free.

Can’t we learn to be happy?
To appreciate?
That’s just my point of view
inside of me.

NATURE

Saving plants is a very important thing in life,because plants are the ones that gives us air to live.It protects us.But we don’t protect it! WHY? Because we cut down many trees just for ourselves.We are being selfish and no one is planting trees anymore. Even when we do plant trees it will take 100 to 500 years to grow.I know even I can’t believe it and mother earth keeps on giving us warning like the cyclone’s we have.I bet right now your heart is saying “Go plant some plants right now” and I am telling you,listen to your heart.
