MALALA YOUSAFZAI

      And can’t be beat.

Malala Yousafzai is the best. Yesterday I read Times for Kids magazine and they asked the kids to vote for the person of the year. Guess who beat out pop star Taylor Swift and football hero Peyton Manning? She is not a musician or an athlete, she is a champion of education rights for girls. She is the one and only MALALA YOUSAFZAI.

I was impressed about how she believed in girls rights to go to school. So I just wanted to share my knowledge about her with you. She was the youngest noble peace prize winner. She was active for the female education.

Yousafzai made her own blog just like me and expressed her views about female rights to go to school. Her views were on TV and magazines.

One afternoon on October 9, 2012 Yousafzai went on her school bus, a gun man asked for her by name and shot her in her forehead. She was unconscious for days. Then one day she was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, England for treatment.. This scene made a great issue internationally. This incident helped in passing the Pakistan’s first right to education bill. At age 17 Malala Yousafzai became the youngest noble peace prize winner.

Today Malala Yousafzai continues her fight for children and she is the symbol of courage. Because of her, today girls all over the worldwide can go to school.

“When the whole world is silent

        even one voice becomes powerful”

                            – Malala Yousafzai.
