Bed Time Story- To The Moon

” Mommy, I want to go to the moon” said Baby Elephant.

“I’ll take you there with my big rocket with special seats just for you and me. And I’ll carry you all the way to the moon.” said Mommy Elephant.

“Really? Can we really go?”asked Baby Elephant.”Can we go all the way to the moon?”

“Of course we can.”

“Why don’t we go there now!”

“OK. Let’s go!”

And then they made a huge rocket which had all sorts of things inside.

“1, 2, 3. Blast off!!”

Cried Baby Elephant. And soon they were in space. They were zooming through all the beautiful stars.

“Whoops! Watch out for the huge rock!”

“Hey look! There’s the moon. I can see it so far away.”

“Thank you for taking me to the moon Mommy.” Baby Elephant said as he hugged his mother.

“It was my pleasure .” Mommy said.

“Are you hungry, because I  sure am.”

“I am . Let’s go and eat something in the kitchen. I saw a packet of Goldfish there.”

And they raced off to the kitchen.

There’s a Rat in My Hat

There is something in my hat
I wonder what it is
Is it big or small
Is it furry or tall
Is it a monster?

Wait!
I think I hear it
There is something wiggling out of my hat
Could it be a bat?

I think I can catch it
Oh yes, I can
There it goes
So very fast

There! I’ve got it

I will take a peek and look at what I see
It’s a rat!

And its hopped right back into my hat
Before I could give it a pat

Now that you know
Let me tell you
“There’s a Rat in my Hat!”

 

Bed Time Story – A Monster Under My Bed

“Good night Amy!”said her mama.

“Good night!” said Amy.

Amy’s mother closed the door and went out of the room.

Amy closed her eyes when she heard the noise.

awoo!  awoo!

“Ah! There’s something under my bed! Is it a monster”? said Amy.

“I better see what it is”.

She peeked under the bed and almost screamed when she saw a pair of eyes staring at her. She took a deep breath and looked back.

This time instead of two eyes, she saw a puppy.

“So it was you who made the noise”.she said as she picked it up.

The puppy licked her and went to sleep. Amy went to sleep too.

From then on the dog, Amy’s pet bird and Amy lived happily “woof” ever “tweet” after.

 

 

Bed Time Story – “The Egg”

Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong!

“I wonder who that is. “said Amy. She opened the door to find…

No one!!!

She looked to the left,

She looked to the right,

She looked down… and saw an egg!

“I wonder whose it is.”She said.

She took it inside and put it softly on a cushion.

The egg was pretty and Amy really liked it.

“Well, if no one takes the egg, I will.” She said out loud.

Suddenly…..”Crack! Crack!” a noise came from the egg!!

The egg cracked open and….. a tiny blue bird came out!

It was blue like the wind.. Had eyes as bright as the sun and had feathers as soft as ribbon.

“My Oh My” “What a lovely bird!  she said. “It seems I won’t be lonely after all!”

And so the two lived happily ever after!
